Pearl no. 10: On the Lend Canal between the lake and the old town

The accommodation

We warmly welcome you to our bright and elegant two-room apartment with a large loggia. Our pearl is in a prime location right on the Lend Canal footpath and cycle path. From the Lend Canal you can either reach the lake in the west or the old town of Klagenfurt in the east.

A bright, spacious hallway leads to all living rooms. The living room invites you to linger in the friendly and modern vintage ambience. After your day at work, you can put your feet up on the couch, which is equipped with many different cushions, and place your things on the round, inviting living room table. Or you can spend quiet minutes on the beanbags. The square, simple dining table can be folded out. Likewise, separate the work area with white bamboo, you can also plan home office.

The living room leads to the large, west-facing loggia with comfortable wicker chairs and a view of the trees. You can settle down on different seating areas or have your dinner at the outdoor vintage table. In the kitchen you will find an electric grill for cozy evenings outdoors.

In the modern kitchen on the other side of the hall you will find everything you need to cook and prepare - oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, egg cooker, electric grill and of course various kitchen utensils. You can start the day comfortably with a warm cup of coffee at an extendable table and high chair.

In the bedroom there is a large and comfortable 1.80m x 2m white bed ready for you. From the window you can see as far as the Kreuzbergl recreation area. Mirrors and storage space are in the bedroom as well as in the hallway and in the spacious bathroom, which you can reach from the bedroom.

In the modern bathroom you can relax in the bathtub from everyday life. In addition to a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board, broom, vacuum cleaner, there is also some soap and cleaning utensils.

You can park your car for free behind the house on Anzengruberstraße. Theres also a bus stop right next to the house. Lend train station can be reached in 3 minutes.

If you prefer to get to your destination by bike, you can park it in the specially designed basement compartment. Please let us know so that we can explain access to you. We can also lend you a bike.

If you want to come with more than two people, we can help you and provide the comfortable sofa bed in the living room for two more people. Please contact us beforehand.

The environment

Residential areas on the Lend Canal are among the best locations in Klagenfurt, because it uniquely connects the Lake Wörthersee and the old town of Klagenfurt with a pure pedestrian and cycle path. And pretty much right in the middle of the Lend Canal is our pearl no. 10. From here you will find everything you need for everyday life within walking distance. All of Klagenfurt's highlights can also be reached on foot or by bike.

In an easterly direction, you can easily walk into Klagenfurt's old town, have breakfast in the port city at Lendhafen, admire the small old town or just watch the hustle and bustle in a café on the old square.

If you go in the opposite direction from our pearl on the Lend Canal, you can easily reach the beautiful eastern bay of the turquoise-blue Lake Wörthersee. In the Lido, for example, you can have a drink or eat something right by the lake. You will also pass Europapark.

There is also a bakery and supermarkets within walking distance from our apartment. To end the day, we can recommend a tapas restaurant (Tapeo) just 1 km away. The Kreuzbergl recreation area can be reached in 7 minutes. An ice cream parlor is only one house away from the pearl.
